Lake Cafe

First time visiting for lunch with a friend. Will never go back. She got a ham and cheese omelet added mushrooms. One piece of cheese on top of the omelet, ham inside, but no cheese inside and they used canned mushrooms not fresh??????What???? Paid an upcharge for sourdough and it wasnt even real sourdough..... For a cafe-- all of this is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. I got the salad bar and it was okay- most of the lettuce was rusted so had to pick around it. Chopped tomatoes and more veggie options would be nice.definitely not worth $11.49 by itself or even $7.49 to add to a meal. Half that at most. The food here is always good. Thier smash burgers are exceptional. My favorite is the Travelers Breakfast with a blueberry pancake. Yum! The decor is a bit dated, but it's old fashioned, kitchy, and warm.

Really good food but they were super short staffed... had to wait for everything. Nice salad bar and the all you can eat fish was fantastic and reasonably priced. The smashburger was the best thing at the table but that's the only way to get the natural cut fries. You should be able to get them with any sandwich. We will go back and hopefully not have to wait so long for everything. We didn't even try dessert even though they had lots of pies, we would have been there all night.

I have never had a bad meal. This is my go-to for excellent food and even better service. Please dont ever retire!

Such a cute place happen to stumble on it for lunch. Food portions were HUGE The prices were great The food tasted wonderful. I was very happy that we stopped and will definitely go back. 10🌟🌟service was excellent the waitress was friendly.
