Vito's Pizzeria

From 1984-1987 (age 4-7), I lived in Carabetta’s. I used to fall asleep staring out my bedroom window at the lit-up Vito’s sign. My mom and I went weekly for their calzones and pizza. When I was seven, they’d even let me into the kitchen to put the toppings on our order if it wasn’t too busy. It was always my favorite place. We ended up moving away and I think the last time I ate here was in the early 90’s. Tonight, I finally got to have their pizza again for the first time in thirty years and it was so good, it LITERALLY brought me to tears as I realized my childhood staple is still just as fantastic as I remember. We got a half cheese-half meatball and peppers pizza. So cheesy and perfect. The staff was fantastic and I can’t WAIT to try the calzone next time. I will once again be a regul

It’s my favorite pizza and I haven’t ever had pizza like it. I think it is the sourdough pizza dough and sauce that makes it special. They are not light on toppings at all, you get your money’s worth and it isn’t even close. Reheating leftovers in a toaster oven can be even better than the night before. I will always recommend them, it is a uniquely delicious pizza.

First time at Vitos & I’m far from disappointed. The woman who works there is both pleasant & attentive. You can tell the owner takes care of the place, it’s well kept. We ordered a large half cheese, half potato chive. I HIGHLY recommend the potato chive, it was delicious!! It originally comes with bacon but we subbed the bacon for mushroom. I look forward to the next time I’m in Wolcott to come again.

When my brother and his wife lived in Wolcott I would go down there and pick up a pie with the white sauce what chicken and spinach you couldn't beat the taste like everything just came out of a garden
