Virgil's Real BBQ - Las Vegas

Nice ambience for people watching and enjoying the outdoor vibes with High roller view and the hype of Linq promenade. Love the lightings in the late afternoon, shifting from sunset to neon lights. The food is good, highly recommend the trash ribs (sweet sauce) which are deep fried and grilled, very delicious! The Brussels sprouts are super tasty, must try. Sweet potatoes tater tots and the corn bread are enjoyable sides, too. They have happy hour 2-5pm, but we were told that it’s only for sitting at the bar. They also have late night happy hour from 10pm, but not every night. Locals get 20% discounts, so not a bad deal considering it’s at the center of Strip.

Fantastic BBQ right on the Vegas Strip! We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t crowded at all. It was a bit chilly for outdoor seating, but inside was comfortable and welcoming. The four of us shared the ribs, sweet potato bites, broccoli, and the BBQ chicken nachos—everything was absolutely delicious. The food was top-notch, and our server really made the experience: friendly, attentive, and genuinely entertaining. If you love great BBQ, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a good bbq restaurant/bar with two levels & plenty of outdoor seating. There were so many delicious sounding options on the menu that I had a difficult time deciding what to order. Luckily my waiter was extremely helpful with that. I went with the two meat combo which came with two sides. I had brisket & ribs for the main & sweet potato tots with mac&cheese as my sides. The entire meal was excellent & the portions were large enough that I ended up taking some back to my hotel. I didn’t have any alcohol with my meal since I just had two watermelon alcohol beverages at the ice bar across the way & didn’t want to mix. Virgil’s did seem to have a well stocked bar though. There are plenty of televisions for sports & they have a stage for live bands. I guess that would be for the dinner

Four stars because of the service. My friend and I ate here for lunch (no reservation). The food was okay. My smash burger was just a normal burger. The fries were good. The hush puppies were fantastic! We also ordered the bbq slider trio. Chicken was the best, the liquid smoke flavor was very prevalent in the pulled pork, and the brisket was dry. Great atmosphere though and sitting outside was really nice. Not sure I’d come back but if you’re looking for bbq in Vegas, it’s one of the better options.

Virgil BBQ is one of the finest BBQ restaurant in Las Vegas, friend and I visited during the CES time 2026. We sat at the table outside the restaurant beside the pavement because the live music was too loud for indoor conversations, but the band performance was excellent. They have this warm gas heater to really heat up the night. The gentleman waiter was really nice (forgot his name was) but he recommended few courses which we enjoyed it very much. The pig for two had a huge portion, and get to choose 2 side dishes, and we picked mashed potatoes and dirty rice! We also had fried onions, chicken wings were all delicious. nachos is okay, probably its not our cuisine taste. We had a good time there! Really enjoy it. Hope to visit sometime next year.
