Vinny's Pizza & Subs

Yuck! This is not a great place. It is not Italian. The pizza was weird and sweet. I don’t know why it tasted sweet, but it was almost like cinnamon. I don’t know very weird. The two sandwiches we bought were cheesesteak and chicken sandwich. They were filled with lettuce and tomato with very little meat. Why would they even have lettuce and tomato on a cheese stick? Oh right, they have barely any steak or cheese in there gross! The bread was soggy. This is just a fail overall. The fries were good.

I had a good experience at Vinny's. I came here for lunch while working in Belhaven and ended up ordering the Friday special, "The Football", which is a personal one topping pizza. The special came with a drink and a bag of chips for under $9. I opted for the Buffalo chicken and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. I am not a big crust person but I found theirs to be nice and light so I ended up eating the whole thing. Aside from the food, the service was excellent. The employees were fast and attentive. I would definitely go back here sometime I am back in town.

I visited Belhaven, NC on 9/12-09/14. When I got there, I decided to pick up a few items from the local Food Lion. I spotted Vinny's in the shopping center and decided to check them out. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the lady at the front counter. She was very nice and it was a breath of fresh air having a pleasant encounter with someone in customer service. I ordered a 12" pepperoni pizza and a side house salad with ranch. I placed my order and sat down to wait on it. While waiting, there were a few "locals" that came in. I immediately could tell that they were regulars. This was a good sign. When I got back to my Airbnb, I ate my food. The pizza was delicious and the salad was so freaking good! Very dirty and grimy. Including bathrooms. Kept getting weird stares by the servers. Asked for bacon on my pizza and got maybe half a slice for the whole pizza. Very weird atmosphere. We came in with 4 toddlers and very provocative and profane music was being played and didn’t get changed until 5 minutes later. Very weird place and would not recommend going. Stick with the 4$ jacks pizzas.

Absolutely nasty. Everything was sticky. It was hard to eat in there. The food was nothing to brag about. Extremely greasy and barely any toppings on the pizza at all. Loud, inappropriate music was playing when we entered with our kids and stayed on. Would not recommend.
