El Mariachi from Belhaven

Excellent service and delicious food! We had lunch three days in a row while visiting town!

Atmosphere is great! Service was super friendly! Food was phenomenal! I live in Bayboro and will travel to come eat here now!

What a find! $1.99 margaritas, good Mexican food, friendliest staff. Our waitress, Esperanto, was the BEST!! Two full meals including 2 margaritas 🍹🍹 was $30.

I pass through Belhaven a few times each year and usually have a hamburger at the local spot near the water. I was in the mood for Mexican today and gave El Mariachi a try. To be generous, I’d call the decor "exuberant.” Service was prompt, but there was a bit of a language barrier. Hey, I respect anyone who tries to speak a second language, so no ding there. I ordered the half portion lunch sized shrimp fajitas. There was certainly a gracious plenty: three tortillas; onions, green peppers, shrimp on a hot platter; lettuce, tomato, sour cream, guacamole; and refried beans with a little cheese melted on top. It was a really nice lunch. I’d go back.

Bright atmosphere with tasty, affordable Mexican food. The menu is quite large and there are specials most days. Today is Saturday so we ordered the special drinks! $5 - Large House Margarita & $4.99 - Large Mug of Draft Beer I ordered Enchiladas (1 chicken, 1 seasoned beef, 1 cheese) and my Sweetie ordered the Mariachi Burrito (chicken with mole sauce). Both came with a side of rice and a bit of salad. As is the case at many Mexican restaurants you get complimentary chips and salsa. We left nicely satisfied and with leftovers for another meal for around $30!
