This place cooks! Jasmine at the front desk is lovely to work with and oh so helpful! The food is excellent, and there are many options for dietary restricted folks. The atmosphere is pretty vanilla as it's in a dated hotel, but the food is worth the trip! Far exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant.

I've had the pleasure of trying both the Corned Beef Hash and the Smoked Salmon Benedict on separate visits, and they exceeded my expectations each time. If you're a fan of corned beef or salmon, I highly recommend giving these a try—you won't be disappointed!"

01/11/26: Very limited 12 noon lunch menu. Plus they tried to charge us $9 for a side of rice (OMG) and charged $5 each for a coke and a cheap quality iced tea. So that’s already a total of $19 for just those items. Pretty outrageous. We will never go back. I told them this is a great way to keep regular Sacramento folks away. Maybe that’s their corporate business model as when I asked who made there’s decisions, the server claimed “Oh that’s corporate”… not sure I believe that.

I enjoyed a delicious, if overpriced breakfast at Vines Bistro. The service was exceptional. Server Shauba (spelling?) was wonderful, personable, courteous, and efficient. The food was well prepared and nicely presented, though somewhat overpriced, at $20 for 2 eggs, sausage, toast, and potatoes. The menu is small, but it was fine, and as I said, the service was excellent.
