We had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant. We ordered egg biryani, masala dosa, and chilli paneer, and every dish was super delicious. The taste was truly authentic, with rich aromas and perfectly balanced spices. Portion sizes were generous and very satisfying. What really stood out was the hospitality — the staff were incredibly nice and kind, and the owner himself was very humble and welcoming. You can genuinely feel the passion and care that goes into the food and service. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors and a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stopped by for dinner last night and were surprised to be the only ones there for the whole dining experience! This is definitely a gem in Cumberland and more people should be checking Vindu out. They have a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and I enjoyed my Indian soda. It was my first time seeing it on a menu and I’d definitely order it again! We started with the samosa chaat as an appetizer. While I liked the flavors in the chaat I did find the dish to be a bit wet from all the sauces. It made the samosa shells themselves pretty soggy. Not bad but definitely not my favorite. The shrimp saag on the other hand was very good. The dish came with rice and I thought the $18 price tag was acceptable for the portion. This dish was filled with shrimp, tasted great, and

I visited Vindu Indian Restaurant with two friends and had an amazing experience. We tried Chicken Lollipop and Mamsam Ghee Roast as starters, followed by Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and Chicken Fry Piece Biryani, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The highlight for us was the Rabdi with Gulab Jamun — absolutely delicious and a must-try. The staff were very welcoming, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was relaxing with nice music. Overall, a top-notch dining experience with great Indian food and excellent service. Highly recommended !!!

Never expected to find such tasty cuisine in a work-trio, but here I've found myself at "Vindu Indian Restaurant", with the whole place to myself (I caught them early in their lunch shift). I had the goat Saag, with garlic Naan and lemon soda, and let me tell you I was already daydreaming about leftovers before I was done with my meal. The atmosphere was nice but made nicer by my server, who was kind and attentive! The food spoke for itself and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of Indian cuisine, here. If I lived closer, this would make the dining-our rotation! Stop by if you're curious about Indian cuisine OR if you're someone who enjoys eating well!

Everything from appetizers to the desserts was seriously tasty and felt super authentic at Vindu. The place has a cool way of mixing new flavors in without losing that homey vibe. The samosa chaat was on point, the chicken roast was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the naan (bread) are fluffy soft, only Raasa has similar quality naan and the pulao was generous and packed with flavor. Badam Milk in particular is a standout and must have. It reminded me of the home. Haven’t had a better meal in my 12 year stay in Rhode Island. I’m really into the changes they’ve made—it’s cozy, relaxed, and kind of feels like it’s yours. Highly recommend Vindu and definitely worth checking out!
