Customer Reviews
A local woman in a shop I went to recommended the Pizzeria. Told me how good it is, and all about the view. It lived up to both of those things. I might add the staff were extremely friendly and quick at their jobs. I sat with a window view that was stunning until the light disappeared and reflection was all that was left. Still gorgeous just not the same. 😆 My server Liz was super kind. I a woman traveling alone, She invited me to hang out and show me the island. I tried to text but wasn't able to connect which I was bummed about. Being my first time there I questioned what should I get? Liz confidently recommended the Clam and Garlic pizza. I felt hesitant, but went for it anyway. I do like to order food that represents the place I am, here at the Pizzeria on Whidby Island the Clam pizza
The Village Pizzeria in Langley was honestly a disappointing experience overall. The place is always packed, which I understand can make things hectic, but the staff seemed completely confused and disorganized. What made the experience worse was how dismissive and borderline rude they were if you didn’t fit into their “regular” profile of customers — definitely not a welcoming atmosphere. Getting a table was almost impossible; the wait easily went beyond an hour. I decided to do takeout just to save time, but even that took close to 45 minutes. For a simple pizza and salad order, that’s excessive. The bruschetta salad we ordered was missing some ingredients entirely, which made it feel careless and rushed. To be fair, the pizza itself was pretty good — nice crust and flavor — but no food i
Every time I’m on Whidbey Island for work, I make it a point to stop at Village Pizzeria. It’s one of those places that captures everything you want in a small-town pizza spot — warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and an unbeatable view of the water from nearly every table. The pizza itself reminds me of the bustling pizzerias I visited while living in Northern Italy — perfectly crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and quality toppings that actually taste fresh. This trip, I shared a 16-inch Village Special, and it was absolutely satisfying. Village Pizzeria has become a tradition for me — the kind of place that feels both familiar and special every time I visit.
Delicious pizza, phenomenal view. We ordered pizza and beer to go and sat in their outdoor patio.
absolutely fabulous lunch!! Great pizza, great service and people, stunning views. we watched an otter eat his lunch while we ate ours. Will definitely be back.
