Village Pizzeria and Restaurant

Dont let your wife or kids come here alone, The owner is rude as hell. Ive seen him curse out women and kids demanding payment upfront while everyone else got to pay afterwards. Mind you these are customers we see every week, folks who live up the block who been coming here 8+ years. Owner is disgusting but the rest of the staff are great, food and atmosphere great. But the owner is a coward who won't speak to male customers the way he does to female and children.

Solid place to get some good pizza. Their specialty pies and slices are good. The garlic knots are a little small, but otherwise delicious.

The entire bag was full of what I imagine was Marsala Sauce. First and last time I order take-out from them. I'm sure my chicken wouldn't be dry if I ate in the dining room.

Mid pizza for an okay price. If your in NYC, there's better pizza for the same price. If your in the neighborhood with nothing else to eat, this will be more than satisfactory.

This was a good place to stop in. Great service. The dough was chewy. It was a tad too thin and I like thin but was floppy. The sauce ok. Cheese perfect. Baked near perfect but a little dry. Maybe more oil. I scarfed down two pieces really fast. Garlic knots are great , sent from heaven.
