Village Library of Morgantown

We are so thankful for the Village Library! I love the seperate play area for younger kids, and the super clean bathrooms (for when said young children must "go"). Our family enjoys the free week-long DVD check-out. Great selection. And, we reserve all of our books online and pick them up when we are notified they are in. Perfect for when the older kids are researching a topic for a paper. Even if Village Library doesn't have them they will be sent free from another Berks library.

My kids love the kids play room! However, they were very sad to see that the kids computers with their favorite learning programs were never working. And whenever we asked about it, it seemed they had no intentions to try to fix them. Also, their kids books are uncategorized. So, unless you know the Author, or name of a specific book, you have to search each one...

I love this place! Their kids programs are top-notch and everyone is so friendly! They have a nice work area with good internet (handy when my own internet is not working :p). I really like their movie rentals because they usual have recent Redbox stuff for free. Plus I use their Libby app for free audio books on road trips. Thanks Village Library!

Morgantown Library Wednesday 25 October 2017. I enjoy the village library and I always stop in when I’m in the area. Although it is a small community library, the friendly staff can order any item from the Berks system and beyond. The library has a children’s reading room off to the side.

How can you not love The Village Library in Morgantown? It really is one of the heartbeats of a small town. If you have to hold a meeting? Just call--set a time--and pick up the key. It is truly on the honor system, and has been for decades. The staff, no matter who is there, is friendly, personable and ready to help.
