Village Hearth Bakery & Cafe

Delightful local cafe with good coffee and delicious food. I had to return since I came in the afternoon during my first visit and they were out of bagels, I settled just for coffee. This time I was sure to go earlier and the place was full around 10am. The bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a fresh biscuit was delicious and the coffee was piping hot. I’ll have to come back to try the array of pastries they have.

What a great little find while we were just going to a gas station. I stopped to take a couple of pictures. A few days later, we went for a fresh breakfast bagel and coffee and, without a doubt, would visit again. Service was great and friendly, and this little gem was exactly what you would expect from the pics and reviews.

A spontaneous stop for us. I am gluten free so I figured I wouldn’t get anything but my husband could. I was wrong! They had at least 4 baked goods for me to choose from. I got a ham and Asiago scone and raspberry muffin. Scone was delicious! Not that grainy texture usual in GF baked goods. Thank you for having options!!!!! So much appreciated ❤️. Service was excellent! She was super patient and personable:) Atmosphere was comfortable and I wish we could have sat for a while.

This cafe is GORGEOUS and the food is so so good! I tried an iced coffee because of the RI Food Fights iced coffee celebration and also ordered a ham and asiago scone. I didn't realize the scone was gf so I was shocked because you couldn't even tell!! The gardens are so pretty and the inside was lovely as well. Definitely worth a visit!
