If you like the quiet and solitude of the Pocono Mountains married to excellent food and tastefully appointed furnishings, this is the place for you. The view from the back balcony is breathtaking. The inviting kitchen with a beautiful new backsplash, custom designed pottery and the largest eggplant collection I have ever seen in my entire life will give you a welcoming feeling. You will be overwhelmed by the magnificent buffet they set up for you. Fresh corn on the cob, hot dogs prepared in a special German pot and Penne alla Vodka. BEWARE! They go real budget on their mustard! If you enjoy a cocktail they will offer it to you continuously - non-stop. I highly suggest you stay away from the alcohol as they serve the finest well water in Pike County. Host and Hostess par excellence!

I had the honor and privilege of being invited to Villa Monti for the celebration of America’s Birth. I was greeted immediately by the lovely Mrs. Montanino. I immediately felt welcomed. She escorted me to a long table filled with delicious cooked food and salads. Mr. Montanino came inside and introduced himself to me. He immediately cooked me a Waygu burger which was the best I ever had. It melted in my mouth. He then showed me where the beverages were and there was a very nice variety of alcoholic beverages and sodas. When I went outside on the wrap around deck, the views were amazing. There is a babbling brook that runs through the property. A beaver dam in the distance is visible. At the end of the day, I was given the most delicious cup of coffee I have had in the US.
