Customer Reviews
This is our second time at Vietnam Kitchen in Kentucky, and it’s always delicious! The food is fresh, flavorful, and the service is very good. Our family always brings us here, and we truly enjoy Vietnamese food every time we visit.
This Louisville stronghold of a Vietnamese restaurant has remained consistently good, using quality ingredients, in the over twelve years that I have had the opportunity to frequent it. If you are new to town, or just passing through, don’t miss your chance to have a delicious meal here. If you’re local and have never been, I’d only have to ask why not, yet?
Great place and great food. Enjoyed pha(sorry for misspell), beef and tenderloin myself. Great parking place, and sitting arrangement for family also.
Some vegan friends told me this is a low key spot to hit absolutely hit, finally got a chance to go. My daughter is a soup fanatic and she was so pleased, spring rolls, soup, tofu, mock duck. No disappointments at all. Very good with a home welcoming atmosphere. Watched what I’m assuming was the owner with a fellow veteran interaction and it was truly beautiful. I’ve got nothing but good feels and a full belly from this gem. Must go, must eat, must enjoy.
I really should have known better walking into a Vietnamese restaurant at 8:00 p.m. and there was no Vietnamese people sitting around eating. I walked in without looking at the menu and ordered a banh xeo. I get home to eat, There was only one piece of lettuce. None of the other vegetables to go with it. They threw some cucumbers in which obviously should not go with it. No cilantro, no la-lop, no mint, and I understand that there's no River leaves. I have never seen anyone ever use dehydrated shrimp in a banh xeo. You know maybe the place rubbed me wrong when I spent $20 for it. But if you're going to charge that kind of price you should at least try to make authentic. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I don't know the food.
