Viet Shack

Viet Shack has the best Vietnamese food in Phoenix Arizona. I have been to over 20 Vietnamese spots and all have fallen short of Viet Shack. This family owned and ran restaurant produces the best banh mi, phu, wontons, egg rolls, noodles, fried chicken, Vietnamese coffee, and spring rolls you will find in Phoenix. The spring rolls are beyond exceptional! They are made to order and are always fresh and crispy! You NEED to add spring rolls to your order, I prefer the traditional.

Atmosphere is clean, service is friendly but the food was just okay. I got fried noodles which looks yummy but they were not hot in temperature when I ate. 🍜😔 #Atmosphere #Service #Food #Noodles #Temperature

The food was awesome. Wanted something light, fresh and filling and that bun thit nuong was exactly that. My partner got the fried noodles and that he said was savory and very filling. They didn't have dining before, just the two little tables, but they've expanded and now have plenty of seating. Will definitely be back to try new dishes.

Love coming to Viet Shack for my Viet Coffee fix. Their banh mi is amazing as well, definitely one of the best in the valley. There is always an ample amount of meat, a ton of toppings, and the spice level is always good. I do wish their bread was a little more crunchy, but that is just my personal preference. The crispy fried chicken was phenomenal- very crunchy but still extremely juicy. I finished all the sauce that came with it quickly though, so definitely get extra. They also recently expanded their space and it looks amazing!! The employees are always extremely sweet and helpful. Quality and price are nice as well. Please support this local business as much as possible, you won’t be disappointed!

I haven’t visited Viet Shack for a long time, so I was surprised to see that they now have an expanded dining area! Even I was always there for a to-go order, I am now intrigued to have a sit down experience. I will never stop praising this “hole in a wall” for their fresh ingredients and attractive menu. If they start opening at 6am just by selling their signature coffee, that would be amazing!! (Take my wallet!!) I am also happy to find out that they now offer pho. I hope to go back soon to try it out!
