Stopped in after skiing and had a great dinner. The room is extremely spacious and inviting. The food was all delicious and the bathrooms were clean. We spoke with the owner for a couple of minutes and he seemed really nice

Absolutely fabulous meal for two adults and three 8-10 year-old kids. The dining room is really spacious, bright and fun, and the service was friendly and quick. Everything about the food was literally perfect. I mean, how good can a simple shrimp cocktail really be? Well this was the best. Best fries I've had in the State (that's saying something), perfect al dente pasta, excellent fried fish, great cocktails...enough said. Just wish we'd had time / room for dessert. Go try it for yourself 👍

The Victorian Inn is no longer a working Inn but the associated “Inn Pub” attached to the Inn I am pleased to say is very much operational and a true delight. We have eaten there twice with friends and both times everyone was very pleased with their dishes. The menu is eclectic and varied ranging from Asian influence (pot stickers) Swiss influence (Zuricher Geschnetzeltes), seafood (salmon and cod specials), (Italian) spaghetti carbonara and the list goes on. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated and the cocktails among the best we’ve ever had. The pubs owners are lovely and service is excellent (although don’t be in a hurry, the food is lovingly prepared and takes time). A Vermont gem. My friend and I got in to town late and were afraid no one would be open, but the Victorian Inn opened its doors and served us fantastic burgers and some of the best wings we’ve had. The ambience was thoughtful and authentic. As we were about to leave the owner invited us for a drink and shared a really interest backstory to the place. We ended up spending another hour with the owner and his family! It felt like we’re were leaving a friends house, not a restaurant. We will be going back!

My wife and I recently had dinner at the Victorian Inn in Wallingford. The food was very tasty and the service was above and beyond. Although, the next morning my wife became extremely I'll with a bout of food poisoning and vomited up the entire meal from the previous night and was sick for the entire day. I called the restaurant the next day they were open, (which was the following Tuesday) to let them know about this, out of concern for other patrons of the restaurant and also because after spending in excess of $120 for the two of us to eat there, this kind of thing should absolutely not happen.
