I.B. Munson House

I want to share our wonderful experience at the I.B. Munson house this weekend. Words can’t describe how perfect everything was, Gloria and Steve are amazing hosts and they accommodated us exceptionally. There was a glitch with our booking through Expedia and even with that, Gloria took us in and saved our trip. We were in the Wallingford Suite which was beautiful and cozy, the breakfast was beyond delicious, and we especially loved their four month old puppy Gigi. We most definitely plan on staying at I.B. Munson House again in the future. We highly recommend this B&B for a romantic getaway.

I haven't written a review in a long time, not because of COVID, but because I haven't been inspired by customer service that exceeds my expectations. Gloria and Stephen (GiGi too!) did just that as they are truly amazing hosts. Attention to detail, thoughtful, caring all topped off with absolutely amazing breakfast! I can't thank them enough for an amazing weekend. My wife and I will surely be back! If you are in Wallingford, VT (or the surrounding area) I highly recommend the IB Munson House for it's charm and it's amazing hosts!

We recently stayed two nights at the IB Munson House and were thrilled with our experience. The bed and breakfast was at full capacity (Presidents Day weekend), but even so, the owners were friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable in their home. Every detail was considered...dessert, coffee, and tea were offered each evening, and local newspapers were provided so we could plan our excursions. The breakfasts? Absolutely amazing. We stayed in The Waterford Suite, and it was spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. It felt very private. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay at the I.B. Munson house. Our room and all of the common rooms were beautifully decorated and Gloria and Stephen, the Innkeepers, were very welcoming and helpful. There were many outdoor sitting spaces to enjoy and a fire was lit for s'mores each night. Breakfasts were delicious and coffee, granola bars, and freshly baked cookies were always available. Overall, a wonderful stay - would highly recommend to anybody looking for a New England B&B experience.

The IB Munson House a 200-year-old home renovated to a bed-and-breakfast with classic period Furnishings and modern accents. || The proprietors Gloria and Steven are fabulous host with constant; may I help you,can get you something attitude. I would tell you more about the owners and the house but then you would have hear it twice. Bottom line if you are exploring VT in the fall And need lodging this is a great place. Remember sometimes you find quality when you least expect it and for that reason I will go out on a limb to say these owners strive to please with a good service and accommodations ||
