Via Sposito never disappoints! We go here all the time and the food is consistently great. This time we had the chicken parm in vodka sauce—absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We also tried the American cheesecake for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The place is always packed, which says a lot about how good it is. You can walk in, but I’d definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if you can. One of our favorite local spots—highly recommend!

We had an early dinner tonight to celebrate our parents anniversary and birthday. Even though we we used to live locally, we had never eaten here before and chose it from the reviews. It’s definitely a hidden gem of Old Bridge! The staff was super friendly, accommodating and personable. The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the big tomatoes and cans of Esposito red sauce as decor throughout the restaurant too. My personal favorite was the vodka sauce. I’m very picky but it was the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had. The restaurant is in the smaller side and really echoey, but otherwise very lovely. We unfortunately had a big party of some very rude dining guests behind us and that unfortunately killed the atmosphere for us a bit because we had to yell for our elderly parents to be able t

Recently stopped in here with high expectations, but left feeling pretty disappointed. The pear salad with grilled chicken was underwhelming and expensive, the eggplant parm was drowning in sauce, and the square pizza was like 80% bread. Prices were also pretty damn expensive ($12 for a slice of cheesecake). Restaurant front house staff kept apologizing for keeping the door open because apparently the oven gets so hot that it becomes unbearable. We didn't feel it was too cold, but I guess that depends on the night. Overall, I think the prices are way overtuned, especially considering the sheer quantity of other Italian places nearby.

I typically don’t review restaurants but the food and service was excellent, making it very hard for me to not comment and put it out there. I ordered a catering service for an at home event—roughly 20 people and let me tell you, my guests and I were pleased with the quality and portions. Viasposito’s did not disappoint. As a first time customer, Anthony the owner was very generous with the portions and assured me the food would be enough for my party of 20–even went out of his way to pack a little extra for us. Our guests all asked where the food came from and I proudly shared the details. No way I am ever cooking for a medium sized event like the one I held—ordering from them again for sure. 10/10 recommend!

3/1/24 I read about Via Sposito having multiple restaurants serving family style dishes and their Pizza ovens are wood and coal fired so we went to the one in Old Bridge, NJ. Our gracious host Dolores is an Sposito who we had the pleasure to talk with. We started with Zuppa di Mussels, which was delicious and the sauce to dip the mussels in was so sweet yummy. Just look at the pictures before and after. Then my wife ordered the huge Pork Chop with mixed vegetables and potatoes, my wife couldn't finish her meal. I ordered a Margarita Pizza with homemade mozzarella and pecorino romano cheese and fresh basil with extra virgin olive oil. On top I added real sliced sweet sausage, outstanding pizza, will definitely order it again together with outstanding service see the before and after picture
