Vesuvius Italian & Wine Bar

Excellent new Italian Restaurant. The Owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Have been there several times since they opened, and we love it. Would highly recommend the Arancini Appetizer, the Eggplant Parmesan and the Pasta Bolognese. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the Tiramisu or the Lava Cake.

Finally, an Exceptional Italian Spot in Urbana! We are so glad we decided to try this newly opened Italian restaurant in Urbana. It did not disappoint! The food was outstanding. I ordered my classic test dish, the Chicken Parmesan, and it was perfect, a deliciously crispy chicken cutlet served over perfectly cooked pasta with a wonderful sauce. Our other dish was a fantastic seafood dish featuring octopus, shrimp, scallops, and clams. Every piece of seafood was cooked well, but the scallops were particularly outstanding. We didn't get to explore the drink menu much this time, but it looked very interesting and I'm already looking forward to trying some of their options on our next visit. To top it all off, the service and the staff were exceptional, making for a truly enjoyable evening.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Our first time eating here and it was a wonderful experience. We sat at the bar immediately after arrival. The entire staff, particularly Michael, were very polite and attentive! We will definitely go back!

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! The best Italian food I’ve ever had, hands down (and I’ve had a lot!!). Absolute must-try. Very authentic. Amazing service and atmosphere. Incredibly gorgeous design. You won’t regret it!!

So excited Vesuvius has opened; it did not disappoint!! Our meal was fabulous (Filet Oscar for my hubby and stuffed shrimp for me). Service was attentive without feeling stuffy. A great date night spot- we will be back!!
