Vesuvios Pizza

Stopped by for a few slices. Decent selection of toppings and the slices were cooked to my liking. I got a plain and a BBQ chicken. Both were tasty. Similar to other pizza place in the area they have an expansive menu. I'll be back to try some other items.

One of the best pizza places at the Jersey shore. They use the best blend of cheese- full of flavor. Very good sauce and thin but chewy crust. We enjoyed meeting the owner, Dario, very friendly. His father started the business-57 years ago. Nice spot to come in for a slice. Cash only. Plenty of seating. Takeout pizzas were delicious as well!

I called and asked if they could do a margarita pizza and they said yes. They gave me a white pizza instead and put barely any marinara or basil on it. Not only did they not know how to make a margarita pizza, it tasted terrible. We even had to add oregano to make it slightly edible. Hate to give a local business a bad review but when you have a bad product it warrants it, and it's a shame because even their plain slices which are normally good were even bad today. What a shame...

Vesuvio Pizza is absolutely the very best pizza in the point pleasant NJ I go there whenever I am in the airra for two slices and a coke. They use good dough and really good cheese. They are ready to serve pizza 11 am
