The staff are kind and friendly, the subs are great, and the location is characteristically rustic. This place has a special meaning for me, even though I was not here that often decades ago - I went to high school right next door to here, Vestal Senior High School. '97

Called ahead,bakery said it would take about 20 minutes, showed up 20 minutes later; Just to have to wait another 20+ minutes because they didn't make my order yet in general. On top of that, they said they didn't have my full order, after I watched them give the exact same thing I ordered to people in line while i waited, THEN, After telling me they were out of fries, leaving my order incomplete...As I was leaving one of the workers asked if they should drop another basket. Disappointed completely.

I have loved this place for years. Nothing fancy here, just good food. The pizza is my main draw. It's delicious cold! The city chicken is good. It's breaded, fried chicken breast cubes in a skewer... a good quick lunch. Enen though the bakery is about an hour from my house, it's a must go to at least once a month to stock up!

Best meatball subs I've ever had. Excellent cooked pasta sauce in quart containers. Very good chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and cannolis, but the other sweets are meh. Subs are okay but unusually limited options of ingredients. Pizza is good for the area, better than any of the chains, but not the best.

I've been coming here for about 30 years and I feel like honestly the flavor has not changed in my memory, which is good because I really like the taste of their pizza. Besides the pizza my favorite items are the subs and their half moon cookies. They have a whole bunch of different types of chips and an ice cream cooler as well. The people here are very friendly and make your order very quickly. And it's very inexpensive to eat here. Not a bad place to grab a few cheap slices and a drink and sit and read a book for a little while, it's right next to the Vestal library.
