Veronas Italian Restaurant

We were very pleased with our experience at Verona's. Our servers name was Jacob. He was super polite and service was amazing. The complimentary rolls were the perfect freshness of bread and I recommend some warm marinara to go with 🫠 I ordered the Chicken fettuccine and it was perfect. The sauce wasn't too thick and the noodles tasted fresh. My husband ordered the Chicken Parm and the chicken was amazing. We got the kids a pepperoni pizza and I loved it so much we ordered one to take home. Prices are fair not expensive at all. Honestly cheaper than McDonald's for better quality of food. I've searched for an Italian restaurant to taste similar to a place I really liked in Azle that's no longer open and Verona's literally makes up for their absence. This little gem is sooooooo delicious! Glad another restaurant in the same area was super busy. I decided to move our party elsewhere after church. Found this gem on MapQuest. Also glad I ordered the pasta chicken A-la-mamma sauce. Now I have to drive from DFW airport to Decatur to eat this again. Yes, it's worth the drive (1 hr drive). Life just isn't fair.

This place provided a wonderful experience. The staff were nice, polite and attentive. The prices are really reasonable, I would even say prices are cheap for the type and quality of the food. The food was delicious. The rolls are homemade, soft and melt in your mouth. My wife and I got Calamari and stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer the calamari was good, the sauce they served it with was a homemade marinara and was delightful. The Stuffed mushrooms where probably my favorite thing we ordered, mushrooms stuffed crab and then serve it with a brandy cream sauce poured over it. The brandy cream sauce is probably one of the best sauces I’ve had in a while, my wife and I were dipping everything in the left over sauce.
