This library is my favourite, it is always so clean and cozy. They have a huge choice of books and magazines on different topics, biography books, all kinds of CD's, and plenty of other informational material. Staff is always so nice and helpful, computers are always available for use. Great place to come in to relax and read a book, or surf the internet.

Vernon area public library allows to borrow a book for 2 weeks for the most books which are not enough time to read thick books. Most of the people prefer to read at home than reading at the library. But due to the limited time, I ended up buying the books to finish them and not sure why we have been paying high tax for this area since the library is not beneficial. Some activities are good such as chess, ozobot coding, and python. However they occur seldom. They won’t order the book if you request to buy or ask to bring from other network libraries. I have been the reader of many libraries across the states. This is one of the worst libraries and the staffs are moody and not respectful. One of the biggest suburban libraries in greater Chicago areas and in Buffalo Grove area. Larger - deeper and wider, collection of resources, books, journals, test preps, cds, dvds, blue rays, music... all are available. Quiet study rooms are here. All the standard library amenities are available. Excellent place for learning for the entire family and the community.

Absolutely amazing experience and staff! Thank you so much for the taking care of our kids and providing an excellent opportunity to read so many books.
