Venice beach

Watching the sunset at Venice Beach was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The sky transformed into stunning shades of orange, pink, and purple, reflecting beautifully over the ocean. The cool ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, and the vibrant energy from street performers and skaters made the atmosphere feel alive and peaceful at the same time. It’s the perfect place to relax, take photos, or just sit and enjoy nature after a long day. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or a local, this sunset view is something you shouldn’t miss!

Venice Beach is located near Santa Monica Beach and can be reached on foot or by renting some form of transportation from one of the rental shops. I enjoy walking – it's healthy and you get to see more. You need to see Venice Beach at least once and experience the vibe of the place. Then you'll want to come back again... The pier is a must-see!

Ah, Venice Beach — it really is a beautiful spot. The beaches are clean and stretch out for miles, so there’s plenty of space to relax. The vibe around Venice is cool too, with all the little local bars where you can grab a beer and a bite. That said, the atmosphere has changed a bit… I mean, it’s not exactly changed, but there are definitely a lot more homeless people and drug users hanging around the promenade now. It’s still a great place to see, but honestly, it kind of breaks the Venice Beach myth a little.

Beautiful beach, very big, the sand distance to the Ocean is far longer than what I thought

It was near my accommodation, so I walked around before sunset and again the next morning. The morning walk was especially great; it felt so mentally healing just to be out there. I usually listen to music when I walk, but here, I just listened to the sounds of the neighborhood.
