Bootleg Tacos

Phenomenal tacos, quesadillas and quite frankly the whole menu. I easily ate 9+ tacos. Came back the next day for a quesadilla and a couple tacos, and then again for the third time for the burrito. Refreshing horchata and pineapple drinks available too, These guys are a must. Make sure you try beef the cheeks!!

Solid street tacos, $2 a taco. Got the carne asada, chorizo, and nopal (cactus). Favorite was the asada. The meats are hot, especially the ones that come out of the large stewing pot. At the end sits a varied toppings bar, including cucumber and radish slices. Service is fast. The atmosphere is inviting.

Bootleg Tacos never misses! Every time we visit LA, we stop by. This past visit we stopped by twice. Food is great, pricing is great, and they are very consistent.

Best tacos in town. All the tacos cost a buck including the horchata drinks. Quesadillas are 5 and are loaded with lots of meat. The light green salsa is the least spiciest while the red is the spiciest yet it soooooooo good. Highly recommend this place!

Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Burritos are $6 ($7 with cheese) and tacos are $2. Imo burritos are the better deal. Lots of different kinds of meats to choose from, e.g. al pastor, chorizo, beef tongue, etc. And toppings, e.g. roasted onions & peppers fresh white onions, red onions,. cilantro, chili, plus sauces. Chorizo is my favorite -- has the most flavor. No seating but we usually sit in the curb or eat standing up if we're not taking to go. NB: they have moved to the other side of the street, on the side with Ralph's. Still on Lincoln Ave. Cash only.
