I tried Vegan Pizza Land with a few friends during a vegan food fest. We tried 2 baked potato pizzas, large garlic bread, cookie and cinnamon pop tart. The pop tart they gave me (for $6.00) had over an inch of burned filling popping out of it. Unfortunately, that was most of the filling so the pop tart was both burned and also somewhat undercooked with a slathering of gooey frosting on the top that transferred to all the other parties that were thrown in together. I was genuinely shocked that pop tart was being sold by a professionally as it seemed like something a kid made. We were told the pizza would be 45 minutes so we waited. It took over an hour and 15 minutes, only for most of the toppings to be burned too. We left hungry and wishing we tried another vendor.

Not the easiest place to find, but if we had read the description in Google (go through the Abandon Building Brewery) we would have found it no problem. That was on us. Although the meatball didn’t really pop, the pizza itself was tasty - we shared the MEATBALL (TOMATO SAUCE, CASHEW MOZZARELLA, HOUSE MEATBALLS, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, CASHEW PARM) and a Dirty Girl IPA (also tasty). There was a guy playing live music (Saturday around 6:00 PM). The space must be a good place to enjoy live music. The only negative was the initial service. There was no line, just my wife and I, and instead of taking our order, the counter person said he needed to retrieve something from the kitchen first. We watched him walk off into the distance. About 15 minutes later he re-emerged. He told us he’d be back,

The pizza is amazing! As a vegan, I'm used to settling for mediocre pizza with weird tasting cheese. But Vegan Pizza Land has great vegan cheese, and just great all around pizza! My partner and I were actually shocked at how good it was the first time we went, and we've become regulars since! My favorite option is the animal lovers. And they also have multiple great dessert options. The setting is cool too, they make the pizza out of a vintage airstream behind a brewery in an old abandoned factory.

Gourmet, unpretentious, and delicious pizza! We ordered the Vodka Yuba Sausage, which was our favorite, and the Kimchi & Tofu Bacon, which was also very good. The cheese was yummy, but the sourdough crust was the standout. Two pizzas were just right for the three of us. The indoor seating at Abandoned Building Brewery was spacious and welcoming, with no pressure to order a drink. Kids and dogs were welcome. Looks like I found my new favorite pizza spot!

I love everything vpl makes with all of my heart. there was an era of my life where I ate vpl at least once if not twice a week every single week for at least 3 or 4 months. I don’t know what the secret is for the gluten free crust but it’s the best gf pizza I’ve ever had, bar none, vegan or not vegan. the rotation of seasonal ingredients always results in creative and delicious pizza toppings I’ve never found anywhere else (can say the same about the wonderfully inspired coffee counter menu items!!). i moved to japan and every time a menu update goes up on instagram i stare wistfully at my phone. please go and eat the best pizza in the valley and also go to the coffee counter because i cant!!!!
