Vecchia Nuova

Fringe benefit of the food photographer is I get to sample much of what I photograph. The owner Evan was kind enough to feed my family Sunday evening offering the calamari, chicken parmesan, and the carne pizza. 5 stars from my wife and this was take out reheated in an air fryer. I'll be back as a customer.

I stopped into Vecchia Nuovo in Phoenixville tonight by myself and had an awesome experience. I was seated right away, and the service was great. I ordered the Boardwalk pie and a side of broccoli rabe with a glass of wine. The pizza was fantastic — perfectly crispy on the bottom, great crust, and the toppings were spot-on. The broccoli rabe was exactly how I like it — a little olive oil, a touch of spice, full of flavor. Everything hit the mark.

Had a group of friends for a birthday party! Evan and his staff were very accommodating! Food was fantastic and Vecchia has great atmosphere! Definitely going back to have one of there Brick Oven Pizzas! They looked amazing also! Thank you all for your hospitality!

The pizza and the salad were delicious, I could see myself coming here again or even takeout. My only comment is, they sat us down pretty quick but I had to get up to get the menu since it passed a relatively good amount of time and no one hand it to us. Pro-tip: if you are going over the weekend make a reservation!

Really amazing Italian food. I tried the boardwalk pie and the funghi pizza which were both amazing. I love the fluffy crust and neopolitan pizza. The portions were plenty and full of flavor. The bread with the whipped ricotta was also really good and the waiter was great. I definitely want to try one of the pasta dishes next time.
