Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

This is one of the best ice cream shop experiences I’ve ever had. The staffs were so friendly. Ashley was so enthusiastic to introduce so many flavors and offered us to try them all. Earl Grey has always been my number one favorite and Van Leeuwen did not disappoint me!!! We also got the mango sticky rice, blueberry jelly donut, and honeycomb. Their waffle cone/bowl was one of a kind compared to other ice cream shops. It was crunchy and had a hint of honey in it. Even with the ice cream melting on top, it still managed to stay crunchy!!! I can’t wait to try the big face coffee affogato next time!

So yummy and delicious! Clean and vibrant. The person who helped us was a gentleman with glasses , he was so sweet and welcoming. Love this place.

friendly and very accommodating staff. i went with my friends and he greeted us with a bright smile. i ordered the mango sticky rice and it was very yummy! a good $6 spent, i almost went for seconds for the peanut butter brownie flavor!

We heard that a new ice cream place had opened up at the North Shore Mall and truthfully didn't know what to expect. It's certainly not cheap and we thought to ourselves, "it's probably just another overpriced ice cream chain here on the North Shore." And while yes, it is expensive; it truly is amazing ice cream. The atmosphere was cute, indoor/outdoor seating available, fun vibrant and retro decor, and an overall good vibe. The gentlemen behind the counter were lovely and let us try next to every flavor they had available before we finally made a decision. Now for the decision, we landed on the Strawberry Yuzu Cheesecake and the Marionberry Cheesecake and they were both amazing! Whipped cream was SOUR, the three flavors I tried were overwhelming and just didn't taste good. The texture was icy and not rich. The store was clean and empty of customers on a sunny Saturday. Go elsewhere, won't last.
