I had always passed through Kutztown on my travels as a trucker but never actually stopped here. Luckily this week I had some extra free time and decided to spend it here at this restaurant. Time well spent if you ask me. Firstly, I love it when local restaurants integrate their culture into their craft. I didn't even know Kutztown had a soda factory! I tried their Birch beer and their orange cream soda, I loved the orange cream soda and as someone who doesn't typically like root beer actually somewhat enjoyed the Birch beer. They also had kettle chips from a local place too. I've never had a chance to stop and try a Philly anywhere in PA yet, this was my first place and good knight was is delicious. The marinara at first kind of threw me off, but in the end really added to the sandwich. A
I just had the lobster ravioli with the vodka sauce to die for the cannolis amazing
We stopped here on our way to the New York area and glad we did! Food was delicious, service was great, and portions are great for the price. I got the manicotti special on Sunday and it was really good. My husband got a sub and it was huge went very good. Definitely recommend this place!
I want to start by saying that yes, I know this is a small town/ area restaurant. I don’t expect for Michelin star rated food, but I expect quality. The food was very lack luster. I ordered an Eggplant Parm that comes with pasta, bread, and a side salad. The side salad was a joke. Thick slices of tomatoes and carrot shavings, that was all that was on it. I understand that it is considered a side, but if you’re going to throw it together like that, don’t offer it. The garlic bread was made on a steak roll. I could leave it or take it. The main portion: Eggplant parm. It was very just blah. The sauce is the type of red sauce that would cause you heartburn. On the bright side, their pizzas are amazing and I would definitely recommend them. Staff is always very friendly and awesome to get to
Pizza was perfect!! I grew up on Jersey Shore pizza and ever since I moved to the area could never find anything close to it. Until I stopped here!! It was like being home again. I will be stopping here at least once a week from now on.
