Uyghur Lagman House

This is one of my go to soul food places. There is usually a large family eating or birthday party. Lots of life here. It can definitely be quiet during the day, though. Food is in my opinion great. Im not from the region and haven't had much to compare it to. I cant speak to authenticity, but I enjoy it, especially on a cold day. Im a bit of a spice fiend, and to me the food is mild, but they provide a nice spicy pepper paste in oil that can add heat on demand to any of the dishes. Its also nice to come and have tea and an appetizer and chill during the day. Service has been quick in person any time ive went. I dont even know if they offer delivery.

We really wanted to like this place, but sadly our first (and only) experience was not good on any level: food, service, or value. Delivery was nearly 3 hours late - they'd lost the order - then the food was simply left on our porch with no email or text alert and without the driver (who got a 20% tip in advance) even ringing the doorbell, and the food was not worth the long wait. We had asked for lamb in most dishes, but the meat was so over-cooked and flavorless that we honestly couldn't tell you whether it was lamb or beef. The meat inside the Samsa and Manta (photo) was overcooked, gray, and flavorless. The lamb shish kabob was tough from lots of connective tissue and also lacked identifiable lamb flavor. And the Uyghur Polo (photo) was mostly overcooked, dry rice - not a lot of meat,

Love this place! Their Chuchura and lamb kebab were so great! Ordered them every time we go there. Tried pearl noodle and fried fish today, it was so yum 😋 please keep serving delicious meals to us.

I tried their chuchura polo and laghman today, and the food was absolutely amazing! The portions were very generous, especially the meat, which was incredibly satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had .highly recommend!

The best Lagman in the Chicagoland area. I hope they keep the quality and quantity consistent. They sincerely make an effort to raise their service standard and train their staff after an unpleasant experience they made sure we got good service. The food is delicious and amazing and great outdoor seating
