Rolling Meadows Library

Took a quilling craft class.. And discovered they have a Library of Things. I knew about the Roku rentals.. But had no idea about the rest. So cool

I've always loved Rolling Meadows library. I grew up going there, and my children grew up going there. I no longer live in Rolling Meadows, but we were driving through Rolling Meadows, and saw signs for a book sale. So we stopped by with my grandchildren and they loved it too!

Nice small quiet space to study or read. The garden lounge has a lot of natural light, vending machines, and couches and chairs with desks to work on. There are smaller private meeting/study rooms available. The staff is helpful and friendly. Paid printing and computers available to use. The bathrooms are well kept. There is also a downstairs and upstairs space.

Review written 07/07/2025. Nice library! Has some study rooms available and a self-checkout area or traditional checkout with library staff. Has a lot of books on CD. Has a lot of magazines and newspapers and books and DVDs etc to browse. Has a puzzle exchange. Has a chessboard and board games and puzzle table in the library. Has plenty of free parking. Has a gardening seed exchange. Has a bulletin board with job postings. Update 08/02/2025. They have great Library of Things items to check out including mobile WiFi hotspots and Roku device to watch Netflix etc for free. Also you can reserve study rooms through an online reservation system. Rolling Meadows Library is an amazing community resource and one of the best libraries I’ve visited. They truly have something for all ages, from a great children’s section to plenty of books and resources for teens and adults. I was really impressed by the number of activities and programs they offer, which keep the library lively and engaging year-round. The librarians are incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. It’s a welcoming place that makes you want to come back often.
