Oh my friends this is a review I don't like writing. Let me remind you I was a business owner 27 years and it was impo6I knew if we didn't get it right. USA Brooklyn Delicatessen today your JFK location did not deliver. The food looks nothing like the pictures. My husband's $28.50 pastrami sandwich meal looked exactly like the picture. Is this what customers can expect? We have no problem paying $28 for a good meal. Clearly this was not good. My Caesar salad head seven bites chopped chicken. I thought it would be grilled chicken but it was more like that you can you get chunks of at a Wendy's salad bar. For $18.50 at least mix the dressing in and make it look good. If unpleasant service (even by NY airport standards) and iffy food for sky high prices is your thing, you’re in luck. This place has it all. Service was straight hostile. “Danniel” was definitely angry about the existence of customers. She made the others (all very indifferent to their work) seem like cheerleaders. Food was so-so at best - pastrami from a bag, soggy bun with plenty of grease). $30 for a sandwich and a water? You can do better at the grab and go. If you need to get your fix of crappy treatment and iffy food for pay, do stop by.

The menu on the self-service machine says the half sandwich-half soup meal includes coleslaw as a side, but I ordered at the counter to use the meal voucher from Delta. I asked to replace the coleslaw with a potato salad and they agreed. They charged me $2 more than the price in the machine but I thought it was for the replacement. When I opened the box there was no side, no coleslaw or potato salad. When I asked them about it the same staff member told me the meal "does not include any side". They are operating like a scam!

The poor service saga continues. Management doesn't know how to train their staff or the staff could care less. The staff spent more time arguing about working than actually working. And when they did, they couldn't get orders right. The menu says in detail what a sandwich comes with. It's not just toasted bread and pastrami. The soup was mostly broth and so hot 🔥 🥵 you would immediately scald your mouth if you did't blow on each spoon full. Two meals of half sandwich and soup 🍲 cost over $52 and the person handing over the order couldn't even put spoons in the bag. You have to ask for spoons, they aren't available for you tonget them yourself. I expect airport prices to be higher, but with the lack of service and time we waited for our small servings of food it was highway robbe

Delicious pastrami reuben and matzo ball soup. The sandwich needs mustard so ask for a side of it . There mustard is especially good i very much enjoyed my lunch here. Beside Shake Shack next to b34 Service is slow.
