US 17 NY Deli

Gave the new deli a try. We got our sandwiches to go. Not much room inside. Service and food were great! I had an Italian sub and my wife had a club. Can't wait to try their pastrami.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Didn’t order anything complicated. Wait time was an HOUR AND HALF for 3 sandwiches. Not worth the wait. Sandwiches were just so so.

I am visiting in town and was looking for a good lunch place. I asked around and I was told go to US-17 NY Deli. I went for lunch around 12ish, my food came out pretty quickly. My sandwich had more meat that I expected, I ended up having left overs. The prices were great for the amount of meat you get. It was so good I think I'll go back again.

Today was opening day and by lunch time there was some computer issues. The owner was there helping with orders and apologizing for delays. I ordered the Trump Tower with some add ons on white bread. I was not disappointed. Lots of meat and taste, it was worth the wait. Hubby ordered the NY Ruben on sourdough. OMG was that delicious, again lots of meat and a dressing. We will be back to try other items to figure out what’s our favorite. They have a breakfast menu and pizza.

Food is amazing, they are just getting starting so the service is slow and they haven't figured out how to move the pickup orders faster than those ordering from their extensive list of items. If you order pick up expect to wait a long time if there are customers in front of you. Update: Owners Response is accurate but due to extensive line and short space it would be inappropriate to yell across the restaurant-unless it is encouraged!
