Urban Tandoor

This is a very popular Indian restaurant in the Arlington area. The buffet is reasonably priced though the options somewhat limited, especially for vegetarians. They are very busy on weekends with a line of people waiting to get in.

We came in for lunch and started with the Crispy Corn, which was super crunchy and full of flavor — definitely a highlight. For the main course, we had naan, malai kofta curry, and paneer biryani. The service was amazing, and the vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a really good experience, with the starters standing out and the main course being satisfying as well.

The restaurant offered a mixed experience at dinner. Chicken drumsticks and garlic naan were tasty (4/5 each), but the butter chicken was disappointing (2/5)—the worst tasted so far. The tandoori roti was thick and saggy (1/5), needing major improvement

Great curry. Amazing spice level (hot) and seasonings. Really friendly staff. Had a great time. Assorted naan was great too.
