Upshur County Public Library

The community of supportive library users might not know how much more robust and well-managed their beloved library could be. This library does relatively well of compared to its peers, but it could truly be a leader in the community if its leadership were truly dedicated to doing the heavy work of reaching out into the community and utilizing the professional skills presumably gained from the masters degree required to hold the job. 20% of the staff there have the creativity, work ethic and determination to make the best of their occupations; but the leadership of the library could do more, much more, to support them and improve the library as a whole. Very clean, organized with clear signage, welcoming and relaxing, materials for all ages, ample parking with easy access for all, no steps, ada compliant, dedicated and supportive staff, great lighting and quite diversified, games, dvds, access to technology. Definately stop by and check it out. Upshur County Public library is an asset of community.

A great experience today. Becky helped me with not only finding what I was looking for but went the extra mile!!! Shes a great asset to the place.

Spacious and good lighting. Meeting room was easy to find. Restroom easy to find and clean.
