Las Trancas Mexican Restaurant - Buckhannon

Food was ok. I’ve had better Mexican food before. The restaurant could definitely be alot cleaner. We sat in the back and when we walked back there is smelled awful like sewer. The smell went away eventually. But kinda put a bad taste in our mouth. I didnt see alot on the menu I liked so I got something simple. Had a peach marg, didnt taste much liquor.

I was at this restaurant on Feb 26th at around 2pm. I didn't catch my waitresses name but my receipt says Emp: Maryam W, so I am assuming that was her name. She was wonderful. She was very polite, quick to get me my drink and order and anything that I needed. And it appeared that she was the only one that was waiting tables and she was definitely doing well keeping up with everyone! I made the comment that she was definitely hustling and doing such a great job as the place got busier just about 5-10 minutes after I sat down. She jokingly said that she was a "one woman show" that day and management should definitely be glad to have an employee like her! Everything about this establishment was phenomenal! The waiter 👨‍🍳 was super nice and really funny, and the food 🌯 came out very fast. I was extremely pleased with the presentation of my dish 🍍 and was even more surprised with the large quantity of food provided. If ever in the area, this is a great spot for a quick meal!!

The food was amazing, service was fast and super friendly, and the decorations in the place are beautiful. Definitely recommend

We went on New Years Day. Whistle restaurant always is a good experience. Food is tasty, hot and delicious. Service is very good, and the staff really makes you feel welcomed.
