University of Maryland South Campus Dining Hall

This is the second biggest dining hall at UMD, and probably my second favorite as well. They have a nice amount of seating, it's pretty big, and a lot of different cousines. the Mongolian grill is a hit, and the smoothie and sandwich bars are pretty cool too. Aside from that, they don't switch it up too much, but it's all good food. You can get a seat pretty easily too, unlike the Y.

Food is nothing special I am told. Great friendly meet up spot and easy access from the road. Wind tunnel and close to the border campus food.

Best burger on campus I mean 5 bucks for a triple. Shout out ceaser!

Wow. This place just genuinely sucks. If you have any capacity to cook your own meals, or purchase them elsewhere, a dining plan is not worth it (unless you can go to north campus. Their dining hall is actually very good). The south diner is incomparable to any other dining area on campus. The food is always the same. Nothing is ever stocked. I actually get irritated every time I have to eat here.
