Wanted a place to eat outside for lunch and found the Union. So glad we found this place. The food was great! Nice to see different options than your typical bar food. We were given a complimentary hummus and veggie appetizer which was so appreciated. The Buddha Bowl was yummy. Protein, veggies and rice with an Asian sauce. Happy to see a separate full gluten-free menu. Tuscan Chicken was also very good. Service was also great considering we were the only ones sitting outside. They even thought of bringing us more ice since our ice was melting in our waters. Very thoughtful. We want to come back again and bring our friends who drink beer to try some of the local taps.
We were greeted quicky and served by Sheri, and she did a wonderful job. It was nice to joke around and have fun with the waitress. We had the Jalepeno cheese burger, steak salad, GF Fish and Chips and beers. Everything was top notch EXCEPT, I spaced pics of the drinks and food. Highly recommend as we will return!
Union Grill is the home of the Official NDSU Bison Football Team Makers watch party for the last 3 years. Every Saturday during College football season, they host anywhere from 50-150 die-hard Bison fans. The staff and manager give us FIRST CLASS service and food every single Saturday. Union Grill consistently has the best variety of food and drink. It is a very clean establishment, including the restrooms. We look forward to every Saturday at this venue.
We stopped by Nov 6 and sat at the bar to watch TNF. Our bar wait staff was very efficient and she took very good care of us.We had a drink there and ordered Poutine to share. All very good. We will be back!
Our first time. Manager brought us a flatbread/olive oil dip free of charge to welcome us in. Very yummy. Service was good. The music was very loud (not my choice of genre) but tolerable in the outdoor seating. Food was large portions and tasty, however not enough steak on the Philly and the quesadilla could’ve used more chicken. Good selection of beers. We will go back.
