Uncle's Deli

Every time i go in, they change the price of my food. This happened to my three other coworkers as well. we never know what they will charge for the same items we always got. The older white lady working the register is extremely rude. She causes a scene when you politely ask why she is overcharging you. I spoke to someone else and was able to get my refund but the next time i came in, she overcharged me again. its a shame because the food is genuinely good but whole foods is down the street, i might as well buy the ingredients and make it myself. at least i know it will cost the same.

Been coming here for a few years so I decided to finally post a review. A nice little deli on Darien's Post road it is an excellent place to grab a sandwich. They are quite accommodating for special requests for food and the can get everything ready pretty quickly. I ordered the Uncle's Famous Steak & Cheese which was jam packed with meat and each bit was perfect. A very filling sandwich. The Chicken Cutlet sandwich was brilliant as well, ordered it with a buttered roll with a lot of pickles. Better than some other chicken sandwiches out there! Do yourselves a favor and try Uncle's Deli out!

I am sooo glad we stopped here and on a whim! Absolutely delicious sandwich. It made me despise my roadtrip buddies (my brothers) a bit less!! 😂 also, the guy with the brown curly hair and blue eyes - didn’t catch his name sadly :/ - was very kind, patient, and helpful when it came to choosing my order. I appreciated his customer service and his recommendations! 👍🏼 😁

After passing by Uncle’s Deli a number of times my foodie-osity finally took over. First impression: pretty good! The interior is as quaint and inviting as the exterior with prompt, friendly service to boot. Ordered the Rueben (marbled rye!), a prosciutto panini and a large curly fries. All portions were a good value for the portion. Only gripe and the only thing from making this a 5-star review was the excess salt on the curly fries and panini 🧂🧂 🧂, and I love salt! Will def be back to try the “Epic BLT” among other intriguing menu items...

The quality from Uncle's has gotten worse and worse over the past few months. They frequently forget to include items that are advertised with the meal. I ordered the 2 egg cheese omelette that was supposed to come with home fries and toast, and they didn't include either, just a sad looking omelette. If you call to complain that they messed up your order, they tell you they will "credit you next time" instead of offering a refund. Which would be fine if they actually did that, but the next time I ordered & asked to be credited because of last time, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about and charged me full price anyway. When I got that order, it was missing items AGAIN. Uncle's provides low quality food and poor customer service. I will not be going back any time soon.
