Food & Service: 5/5 •Burger is on point! Mine wasn’t greasy, and I didn’t feel sluggish like Five Guy's burger. •People were cool; I just asked what they recommended and wasn't disappointed. •Importantly, the place is Clean.

Visited on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at approximately 2:15pm. The fried whiting fish and sweet potatoes were delicious and the cabbage was good. The macaroni & cheese wasn’t the best but is was okay (I had the mac & cheese at the Accokeek MD location and it was better (more cheesy). However: the employees were very friendly and courteous. I waited inside until my food was ready and when it was ready, they brought my food to me and made sure everything (condiments included) was in my bag🙏❤️ Keep up the great work!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the jerk chicken entree with collard greens, sweet potatoes, and corn bread. Seasoned jerk chicken has a mild carribean flavor. Sweet potatoes are not too sweet. Enjoyed the firmness of the potatoes. Definitely not from a can. Mind-blowing collards. The greens are cut to perfection and seasoned well; no meat recipe. Additionally, the cornbread is not too sweet and it is lightly buttered. Yum-my. Returned again today and had the fried catfish, mac and cheese, collards, and cornbread. Equally as delicious as the food that I had there just 5 days ago. Glad to know that there is no egg inside the mac and cheese. The food honestly tastes as if it is prepared with a whole lot of love. I came on more than one occasion to the hot bar not being ready when the store opened up. The young lady at the register you can tell is really doing her best she tries all that she can but if the food instead ready or if yall don’t have the items what could we do expect. I asked the heavy set guy about the barbecue chicken and he in turn ignored my question and told me about potato salad. I gave 3 stars for the young lady because she’s trying. We also tipped her without even making a purchase. Do better as a black business

Ordered from the new BBU location on old silver hill rd (Suitland Location) . Let me tell you! The food was not it 🤦🏿‍♂️ The potato salad had nothing to it but potatoes, mustard, relish and paprika. It definitely needed sugar and some other seasoning. The greens were highly seasoned in salt with a vinegar and small dashes of other seasonings. I wonder if they used smoked turkey necks🤔. The baked barbecue chicken was suppose to be honey bbq but was just a standard bbq sauce a little bit tangy and plenty of pepper. The chicken wasn't seasoned and looked like it from yesterday and reheated for today. The honey corn bread seemed to be store brought dripped with honey. The yams was decent and turkey wings was seasoned enough just to make you say they're just ok. The food was nothing to write ho
