Umi Japanese Restaurant

We decided to go in for a quick lunch on a Saturday and it was an excellent choice!! we were in and out in an hour, and had great sushi and service! Everything was very fresh! Even the gyoza was not the frozen stuff that most places seem to use and tasted freshly made. We got soup and salad, which were also both excellent and although similar to other Japanese sushi restaurants, they were slightly different. The flavors of each of the 4 sushi rolls that we had were distinctive and fresh. Our server was also very polite and attentive, even with the several other tables she had in there. If you are looking for a great date night or even just a really good meal, go to Umi!

This is such a good date night spot! Our server, Laney, was so great! She was sweet and attentive! We ordered the spring roll, tuna tataki, rainbow roll, and ninja roll. The spring roll is a cucumber roll with avocado and imitation crab. It's very delicious, crunchy, fresh, and light! The rainbow roll had generous cuts of fish on top, so I loved that. It's a very simple, delicious roll if you like raw fish. The ninja roll was good as well. It was very comforting- warm and delicious! The tuna was awesome, the ponzu sauce is drinkable! So so good. We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Eva and Malary were wonderful servers. The food was so excellent I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm beautiful atmosphere with professional and kind staff. The food is top tier. We ordered the hibachi filet mignon. It was tender with a flavor that needed no season. It can stand alone. The fried rice was perfect as were the vegetables. We will be making Umi's a regular stop on our itinerary.

This Sushi Restaurant is PERFECT! The ambience as soon as you walk in sets the tone for your meal. My husband and I had a dinner date and it was perfect. The Sushi is spot on perfect! If your a Sushi lover definitely try UMI

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. We ordered the filet mignon and the spring rolls to start. The steak was tender and beautifully seasoned and the spring rolls delicate and beautifully plated. Malery and Eva were superb staff. Attentive and kind. The atmosphere was perfect and calming. I highly recommend this restaurant ti anyone with discerning taste.
