Ugly Dumpling

My food and service was very well. The server took his time to discuss food options and recommendations. The dumpling sampler, garlic green beans and braised beef noodle soup were exceptional. I will definitely visit again.

Love food, interiors and atmosphere, only their credit card system didn't work when we visited. The waiter who served us ask our permission whether they could keep my credit card information for processing, we said NO, then "We paid by cash" (later I found they processed my credit card, too. I paid both by credit and cash, lol. Later I called shop to clear up my credit card and they said they will, so People please wait, To be continued). Still good place to hang out with your own risks. - I can assure that they returned my credit back which double charged some reason. At least they are fair. Good to know. I still love their food, next visit? TBD.

This was my first time dining at Ugly Dumpling. It was quite busy for a Monday night, though it didn't take too long to seat out larger party. We were warmly greeted by Jaylen and him and other staff Chris and Katlyn, all made certain we were well taken care of. Foods that we particularly enjoyed: the garlic string beans and cucumber salad. We shared those as apps. The soy garlic chicken was a hit. We'll definitely dine here again! Great place to dine!

The restaurant is very nice and spacious. The vibe is great. We came on a Saturday night without a reservation and waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. I’m not sure why, but there were a lot of empty tables but we were led to a small table in the back corner. We did order a lot of foods and they all came out at the same time so everything was kinda cramped together. Would have been nice if we were offered a bigger table as there were many available. I don’t know if it’s because we were in a corner, but we kinda felt forgotten a bit. Foods came out quickly but were pretty mid, nothing outstanding. I hope they improve because the space and atmosphere are very nice and inviting.

Went here last Wednesday. The place is nice looking on the inside. Nicely designed. The staff was polite and courteous and timely. The food was good overall. The calamari was so on point... so delicious. The short ribs were really flavorful but a bit fatty and chewy. The variety of dumplings we got were good minus one or 2. They weren't for everyone. Overall we will be going back there again to try other food.
