Wildcat

This place is an absolute GEM. I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we were both very impressed with every part of our experience. The cocktail menu is unique and we both loved our drinks (both the alcoholic and mocktails). The entrees were absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. I had the salmon confit and my boyfriend had the steak frites! Our server was very friendly and attentive and they were kind enough to bring us complimentary champagne with our dessert order to celebrate our special day! I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

Great experience here! Very welcoming place. Had one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Ceviche as our appetizer, perfection. We had the Chicken Sandwich, and the Whole Grilled Fish. Both fantastic. Will be back for sure!

Terrific food at Wildcat! The atmosphere and music were delightful, and my fish and chips were marvelous. The malt vinegar fries are unbelievable. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Wildcat is a fantastic edition to Hamden. The food is elevated but easy to find something for everyone (everything from whole grilled fish to ceviche to a burger/fried chicken sandwich option). Cocktails are all balanced and rather creative, and they separate them into shaken or stirred. My personal favorite was Strength of Ten, a stirred spirit forward cocktail. Our server answered all our questions diligently and was very attentive. Can't wait to go back!!

Awesome new restaurant in Hamden and you won't be disappointed. The happy hour drinks are unique and delicious, and even the regular menu drinks are all very different from other bars. They are a little pricier but well worth the money. The apps are good sharable sizes for two, but small for 3 people so get more if that's the case. The entrees are also sharable by two. The banh mi was delicious and well flavored. I loved the Asian inspired dishes! Service and atmosphere was very cool. Parking can be a pain if traffic picks up so be aware, Whitney is a busy road.
