I was in the area and craving Lao Style Papaya Salad - Bok L'Hong. They make one of the best. Love the combo of the papaya, string beans, tomatoes. Fresh herbs, crisp, crunchy, salty umami flavor. Best to eat mix with the shredded cabbage and herbs to neutralize the saltiness. I wish they added more salty crabs. I also ordered the Beef Sticks Lunch Special served with rice and pickled carrots and papaya. It comes with a bowl of a tasty clear, beef brothThe beef is marinated, sweet and salty spices. I wished that the beef cut is bigger. The portion size definitely shrink. The wonderful and cheerful young man, Long , he was excellent and efficient throughout my visit. He is warm, welcoming and respectful. The restaurant is expansive, doubles as a banquet hall. They do have a lot of specia
The combination meat with the pickle veggies and rice is fire! I can eat that all the time. The noodles are flavorful and it so good with Chinese bread, make sure to ask them to fry the bread or deep fry it to make it crispy. The service was great and very friendly!
The food is great here and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend the lemongrass chicken and the blood sausage porridge. They also serve pretty good fresh drinks like a durian shake and an egg soda. The flavor and amount of seasoning used was perfect and we'll definitely be returning if we're back in Long Beach!
Homemade authentic quality food, with live Khmer karaoke. The service is friendly and time efficient. The menu has many great options. Every ordered was delicious!
Not impressed with the quality of the food. I purchased 2 Thai iced teas with black jelly. The teas weren’t that great I believe it was the jelly that ruined the flavor, they do not offer boba so keep that in mind. I also purchased 2 bbq pork snacks which were ok. There is plenty of parking, everything was clearly labeled and priced which was great. —-I will update this review as I see fit
