Great place for a pit stop lunch. Even though their staple is probably pizza, their clamp chowder was amazing! Pizza was also great. It was literally between a Chicago style pizza and a NY style pizza in thickness. The sauce was a little bit on the sweeter side rather than the slight sour taste you may taste on the tomato sauce. Cheese is topped generously. Waitress was nice and very attentive.
We had dinner here while passing through town. It’s a casual place that’s clearly popular with locals. The staff was friendly and we were able to get a table right away. They have a broad range of food options so I’d imagine they have something for everyone. They also have a full bar as well as soft drinks. There’s booths, a few high tops, and bar seating. The place has a lot of character. Our food was good and the prices are good. They also offer take out. It’s located in a small strip mall and there was plenty of parking available. It’s easy to get to as it’s on a main road.
If you like a thicker crust of pizza it’s great! Lots of options but expensive. Big disappointment was the antipasto salad, gave off more chef salad vibes. Needs better cheeses, cherry peppers, artichoke hearts marinated, better quality olives. Also the tiny to go cup of dressing is not enough get more! Was hoping for a pasta with bolognese sauce didn’t see any. Worth a try. Expect to wait.
This was our first time dining here. It was very easy to park. The front of the building isn’t anything impressive. It’s in a strip mall. I am mediately noticed that they had parking in the front row for combat veterans which made me very happy. Yeah atmosphere had lots of military stickers which we also enjoyed. Our son is a wounded warrior, so we appreciated that aspect of the restaurant. We were seated quickly. They seem to be a little bit understaffed, and it took a long time for the waitress to take our order. Once our order was taken, the food came out quickly, and the waitress was very attentive. Our food was very good. My wife got the carrot cake that was nothing less than ginormous. We will definitely come back again.
This one was my wife's idea. Very surprised she knew where to go without having to think about it! 😉 Great food. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table. The marinara sauce was absolutely out of this world. I had spaghetti meatballs. She had the eggplant parmesan. All well worth the 40-minute drive to get here. If you're ever in Salem, four corners area got to stop in at two Brothers.
