Best Thai Food Ever, Delivered by the Universe After a Battlefield Pilgrimage My girlfriend and I went to see the Saratoga National Battlefield, and after hours of Junior Rangering, we set out to find something to eat. As we drove through miles of densely wooded, very historic, possibly haunted little towns, we started to wonder if we’d end up eating in a mysterious shack in the woods. Plot twist: we did. And it was glorious. This humble Thai restaurant looked like it used to be someone’s house, like Grandma woke up one day and said, “Screw it, I’m making Drunken Noodles for the whole world.” And thank god she did, because this was honestly the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered the Drunken Noodles; my girlfriend got the Pad Thai; we shared spring rolls that were so good I briefly
Unfortunately, on our last visit, we were saddened to discover the quality of the food has taken a nose dive. The food used to be excellent - fresh, flavorful, and top-notch in every way with attention to detail. The vegetarian wontons that we used to love were nothing like what we are accustomed to. Instead of a creamy flavorful filling, they had a sour taste, and the texture was crumbly. Instead of a snowy white creamy filling, it was a peculiar yellow. The fried Pork wontons were extremely overcooked and brittle, while the spring rolls were slightly burnt…They were THAT overcooked! The steamed pork dumplings were acceptable, however, conversely, they were stone cold, and should’ve been sizzling hot. The pork pad see ew was OK, but lacking in the usual flavorful pizzazz. We asked for
After driving past Twins dozens of times, I finally stopped. It turned out to be a good decision because the meal was delicious. Many restaurants serve the meal with not too many ingredients, but lots of sauce. Twins was the opposite. My meat had a very generous amount of meat in it.
Stopped for early dinner. Small place... Three tables. Most people coming in for take out. Ordered Coconut curry chicken dish, comes with rice And ordered Pad Thai..Both delicious..very fresh Ingredients. Wish they were closer to us..I'd order take out more often!
So glad we stopped here after a trip to Vermont. Driving past here so many times and never stopped. It delicious and prices are very reasonable. Call ahead because its all cooked fresh.
