Turtle Rock Beachside Cafe formally Tortuga’s

As I entered this restaurant, I met the amazing kitchen staff and was able to connect with them speaking Spanish, which, gave me reassurance that the food would be of high quality. The servers and restaurant manager were very welcoming and friendly. The salsas and chips were a perfect start. The horchata was sweet and tasty. But the main enjoyment was the carne asada plate. The description does not do justice to how amazing this dish is. The flavors were all great. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will make sure to stop by again if possible. If you are in town, this place will not let you down!

Good thing I arrived just after they open because it didn’t take long for them to get busy. But my waitress, Becky, handled the influx of customers like a pro. She’s very polite and very efficient. I opted for the chorizo and scrambled eggs along with refried beans and rice. the beans and rice were pretty good. However, the scrambled eggs were over cooked. But I put salsa on it. Made it work. Speaking of the salsa it was delicious. Chunky and Spicey just the Way salsa should be. This is a very popular restaurant for not only those that stay at the RV park but for the locals. Next time I’m in Gold Beach I’m definitely be back.

Cute place. Friendly service. Awesome location especially when you're staying at Turtle Rock RV Resort. Ordered a chicken chimichunga and a crunchy taco for takeout. They were both decent. I had a Cadillac Margarita while I waited for the food. It was a good one.

Our server provided exceptional service, exemplifying politeness, friendliness, and professionalism. The cuisine was exquisite, with the carne asada being a highlight, boasting immense flavor and perfectly grilled jalapeño. We are already planning a return visit.

Large outdoor area with plenty of shade to relax and listen to the wind in the trees. The food was good. Dog friendly. It was a great place to stop for lunch and decompress.
