Turtle Rock Bar & Café

Yesterday I stopped at Turtle Rock Bar & Cafe on Capell Valley Road in Napa just before lunch to try the egg rolls I’d heard so much about. I got there early enough that it wasn’t busy, which made the stop quick and easy. I ordered two egg rolls to go, and they had them ready within just a few minutes. The place has that relaxed roadside bar-and-cafe feel that fits the quieter backroads on the east side of Napa Valley, away from the tasting room crowds. I ate the egg rolls about 30 minutes later and they still held up really well. They were hot, crisp, and filling, and they lived up to the reputation. I was in the area today, so I had to stop for some of the world famous egg rolls at the Turtle Rock Bar & Cafe. I absolutely love these egg rolls. I love this bar and cafe out in the middle of nowhere (it is actually quite close to Lake Berryessa). If you are in the area do yourself a favor and indulge in the good food, great service, and the quirky but quaint atmosphere. It's where the locals go! 🙂

What a surprise!! Stopped in to grab a bottle of water as we were on the road and discovered this awesome local dive bar, restaurant and small store. Had to make Hubs come in from car and ck it out! Super nice people, we didn’t hang around long but grabbed some egg rolls to go. Beautiful area also.

Always a great time. Great stop for a motorcycle ride, every road in each direction is amazing. Bar has a small amount of various market things too. Highly recommend for a destination or just passing through.

Brother brought some Eggrolls home after his Friday fishing trip 10/31/25 ..is whats for breakfest Saturday morning just as good the nx day ..I for see a road trip for more
