The McClelland House

We stayed at the McClelland house for 4 days and 3 nights for our wedding anniversary. The property is amazing. The rooms are very inviting and the common spaces are comfortable. We had the property to ourselves and it was very quiet most of the time, with the exception of #2 below.||Two things retracted from our experience and warranted a lower than 5 star rating:||1. Unfortunately the chef was sick during our stay. The first morning the housekeeper stepped in on the fly and cooked what was available to her. For the second and third mornings we had to initiate contact (on both days) with the property manager to find a solution. They were unable to find an onsite solution so we were given the option to eat offsite at a local restaurant or receive a partial refund to cover the cost of the m

Amazing experience at McClelland House. Sydney, Andres, and all the housekeeping team were just great! Honestly, with the amazing breakfast and happy hour wine + cheese board, I think it'a a reasonable price to stay in this amazing house. Gonna come back for sure!

What an absolute dream. I don't even know where to begin. Sydney was a gem and was so welcoming upon arrival. For the most part we had the property to ourself the entire stay ~ she was kind enough to let my friends stay since my wedding was the next day. This made our lives so easy since my friend needed to do my bridal make up at 5am. The chef, Andy, made sure I had vegan meal to eat before I left on my big day. I let them know I was vegan when we arrived and they made sure to get vegan options for me... that didn't just include fruits. I had the luxury to eat vegan eggs, sausages, etc. & I'm so grateful they cared enough to put that effort for me. Normally this is not my regular Experience. The McClelland House is a beautiful property. Each room is unique and every detail thought out. Simply stunning!! But what makes this property even more amazing is Sydney who welcomed us and took great care of us throughout our stay. Our chef Andy was wonderful as well. I can’t say enough about what an exceptional experience this was from start to finish!! We look forward to our next stay.

Stayed here for my 50th birthday weekend. Stunningly beautiful mansion, rehabbed with both attention to historical detail and modern flair. The on site staff were tremendous. Breakfast is cooked to order by a professional chef each morning and the food was delicious. Convenient to downtown Napa, but in a quiet neighborhood. My friend wants to come here for her 50th!Highly recommend!
