You deserve a 5, + the chance for a 6 star review, so a 4.5 with room for creme. Great coffee, not bitter, friendly and open during the weekday. Challenge for the 5, answer only needed. How do you become a mini 24/7 diner with coffee, sandwiches (brekfiss), soup (soup!), and pastries. Stay open, its 730pm on thanksgiving and I have no one to talk to. Creme of squash, coffee, and a danish? - I took my time thinking about this review. Welcome to the neighborhood. Do I have to tip 1$ on a 3$ coffee?

Awesome establishment and much needed in Fort Frances. I’m not a huge fan of coffee but Jess makes an amazing iced coffee latte (I’m addicted). My partner has gone to Jol for his hair, and has had nothing but rave reviews. I also appreciate that they support local and have incorporated local producers into their repertoire of products. While we’ve left Fort Frances, we absolutely plan on stopping in on our way through town to enjoy their cafe.

Friendly staff and atmosphere are the best of any business I've been to recently in Fort Frances Thought I walked past the door twice, maybe a more pedestrian oriented sign might help. I recommend highly and will return.

This place is exactly what our town needed. I've now had the chance to experience both sides of the Barbershop and Coffee Cafe combo—multiple times, if I'm being honest—and every visit has been consistently excellent. Jol is a true master of his craft. His attention to detail and skill make every haircut and beard cleanup feel top-tier. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving you the best experience possible. The barbershop side not only looks great but smells incredible too, thanks to the high-quality Canadian products he uses. On the cafe side, My go-to is the Elderberry Hibiscus tea with lemonade (seriously, try it!), and the strawberry lemonade is another favorite.
