Everything a bagel deli should be. With many breakfast and lunch options. Great recipes and deli selections. Really enjoyed the Egg Salad Bagel sandwich for a late lunch while car shopping in the area.

Steve, Mary, Dawn and the rest of the staff make this place a favorite stop on the turnpike for breakfast or lunch. Always fast paced, with a little bit of banter and laughs this is a Long Island Gem!

Turnpike Deli is a pleasant place to stop, largely thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. Service is consistently polite, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable. Most of the food is generally good and reliable, making it a solid option for a quick bite or a casual meal. That said, the muffins are a weak point. They tend to be dry and not very flavorful, and the prices overall are on the higher side for what you get. Still, the good service and dependable food make it a place worth considering, especially if you’re nearby and value friendly customer interaction.

I went to this deli last week and decided to come back because it was good and the prices were okay. It gets seriously packed here at around 9ish so we had to wait a bit. My order was served on the wrong bagel and wasn’t toasted so had to wait some more time before I ate. Other than that, I’d recommend this deli.
